They have announced the winner of the 2004-05 3rd Peugeot Design Contest. The winner is the designer of the Peugeot Moovie. What do you guys think?

it looks good, yes, but i think it doesn't totally fit the assignment..the assignment was cars that you would like to see in the near future..i think that this kind of car isn't really a near future project..more like a 2020 peugeot like the 2nd peugeot design contest..

Design is a mix of ideas, madness and realism, and you've got to find the best compromise

Yee, I agree, and i'm abit narked about Pug not sticking to their own brief! Good on the guy that won though, he deserves it... but you wouldn't expect to see something like that on the road for another 30 - 40+ years!

The only reason i'm annoyed is that if i'd known (and i'm sure loads more of you out there feel the same) that you could / should have been so adventurous with the concept, we wouldnt have spent weeks working our ass's off to produce more 'conventional' ideas.

Just kind of feels like wasted time when the assessors move the goal posts without notifiying us. But hey, it can all go in the portfolio as the end of the day.

I have the same opinion as Nanna Moon, I thought that we should design a car of the near future, I´m a bit disapointed because there were some guys who designed really good cars, but if the majority think that this 'car' was the best it should win.

Disappointed to say the least. It's Insane. I hardly even looks like a vehicle. And the whole entering the car through the middle of the wheel thing is a way strange, and pretty much excludes some people from driving it. Anyway, I am really shocked that they picked it. I was certain the second place car or even the concept 05 would win. Whatever, I'm not Puegeot.
