I totally missed the 2005 Ferrari design competition. This makes me depressed. I didnt hear anything about it. I have allways dreamed of competition like that and now I missed it.
Therefore I ask if somebody knows a new car design comptetition for the year 2006.
Hopefully there will be new Peugeot design competition. Moovie was not a bad design!
The car design contest is dead, it's time to get over it. Peugeot is not going to do another contest after what happened during the last one. Theres a website called speed and design.net that is trying to revive it, but they're not having much success.
what happened during the last one actually... everyone talks about something, bu there is no official information about what caused the disaster please answer me, someone, briefly i dont ask for much

I havent heard anything about a disaster, but to be honest, the fact that it was a competition to design a car for the near future, and the finalists all looked like they came from startrek, as well as the fact that a vacum cleaner won, was quite strange to start with.
Read the thread that we have about the peugeot contest, and you'll see why it's looked upon as such a debacle. It's sad that they probably won't do another contest though, it's a great way to recognize talent.

First off a vaccum won a car design contest..... I don't know wether to laugh or cry. Second is this speed net thing anything we can get involved in to get another contest going or will it be like straightening piza? P.S. i bet that Peugeot vaccum screws! lol
