What? A Vacuum Cleaner won a car designing competetion? What has the world come to?? Oh My god!! Are U serious? I mean, how can anybody get away with it! I cud design a vacuum cleaner with very goodperspective and rendering but not a car! I am still very childish in my sketches. That doesn't mean there are talented guiz hu draw cars on th ename of cars and not Vacuum cleaners? Did the winner go to a wrong competetion? Did he think he had to dwsign Vacuum cleaners with bigger than life wheels, which dont work???? I am confused!

I think you lot should look at it properly. A car for the future of Peugeot. A company famous (more recently particularly) for its small cars.
If you consider brand, and then that this is a design that is stretching the imagination I think the 'Moovie' is really impressive
Seeing it at the Frankfurt show I was glad to see how small it was with so much space (although I was a bit dissappointed by the rear). The front shows some really interesting ideas with the light/brightwork and glass. A different angle to the familiar feline theme.
I for one wish it was in my portfolio first! Well done to him!

So it was the Moovie they were talking about! I really thot it was a VC! NEways it was oiginal and practical and blah blah!!! But not at all beyuuutifool or aesthatic or whatsoever! So it was designed by an engineer and NOT a car-designder!

Does anyone else read this guy as a shrill Lee Evans-alike? I thought the Movie wasnt completely resolved but it was clever (I do love Di-wheel designs) and made a real difference from the usual pointless SUVs. I thought it was a deserving winner, even if it did look just like my Hopscotch.

I've got a competition for y'all:
First car company to give me a job wins.
Don't all rush at once.

The problem with the peugeot contest was most of the contestants took it too seriuosly. It was an opportunity for immediate sucess for a car designer. The winner gets his car in the autoshows and its put into production as a toy car. Costas is now a world famous designer, and he has professional experiance that he can put on his resume. So many other guys did something that was better according to their own interpretation of the theme. So peugeot wound up pissing off hundreds of people who designed a car and lost to a vacuum cleaner. If there going to make people angry there is no justification to spend money to sponsor a contest.

I doubt they care that they disappointed a bunch of over-serious super-ego nerd car designers.
